Canvas prints - how thick are the frames?

The majority of our canvas print frames are 3 cm thick - however, please note that our two smallest sizes (20 x 20 cm and 20 x 30 cm) come with 2 cm frames. Our thick frames provide sturdy and high quality results that minimise the risk of bending or warping over the lifetime of the product.

How do I clean my canvas print?

Sometimes, accidents happen. From unexpected sprays and splashes to dust and pets, your canvas will likely require ongoing light maintenance. We recommend softly wiping your canvas with a damp cloth. Do not use a scouring pad, as this can damage the canvas and remove the ink. Read more

Can the canvas be used outside?

Our canvas prints are not suitable for outdoor use - if installed outdoors, the wooden frame and canvas material will become saturated with water during rainy conditions and start to warp. Read more

Can I add a text on the canvas?

Yes. Using the comment field in the ordering system, indicate your desired text, font and text positioning. We will send you a preview via e-mail for approval.

Gift messages - Can I add a message?

Yes. Insert your personal message using the comment field in the ordering system. We will add the note to your parcel before dispatch.

Does the canvas come with a hanging kit?

Floating frames

Floating frames offer a professional off-the-frame aesthetic to your canvas print. The 1cm gap between the canvas and the frame creates the art-gallery style illusion of a lighter than air floating piece of artwork. All of our wooden frames are constructed using wood from sustainable sources and come in a choice of colours.

Please be aware that your canvas is mounted to the floating frame and fixed permanently in place by our trained staff - therefore the frame is not sold separately. The prices from this list are an additional cost, because we add these frames to your canvas print. Read more about what floating frames are.

Because our canvas prints are carefully mounted onto the floating frame, it is not possible to order them separately. Unfortunately, at this moment we do not offer floating frames for foam board prints, aluminium prints, photos on wood or HD Metal.

My review of HelloCanvas

I ordered two different types of prints on offer from HelloCanvas and can deffinately say l am not disappointed with my order, l am absoluitely thrilled with a 40mm x 40mm canvas print and 8 round custom shapes. One of the photographs l submitted wasn't usable and they notified me almost straight away so that l could submit another. The only l gripe have is that l don't think they were processed in England, as tracking the order l found it had cleared customs in the Nederland and therefore took a while arriving. Will l order from them again ? Definately although l am concerned with the carbon footprint.
